As a founding member of Kathleen Lenover’s Board, I helped Kathleen and Kathie Blea to determine what was the purpose, the processes, the vision, and the name of Education for Abundant Living. We worked through accomplishing the requirements, the paperwork and supporting Kathleen as she qualified for a Focus Ministry within Center for Spiritual Living.
After becoming a Minister for CSL, Kathleen led EAL for the two years required until she became ordained and thus a life-time minister with Centers for Spiritual Living. Kathleen, being a lifetime learner, decided that she wanted to earn a Doctorate and so she began at ???? University. To earn the doctorate, one of her requirements was to write a book. So, Kathleen took a course in how to write a book about her life which became her book, I Am Perfect For This. We were all so proud of her accomplishment and that she was now Rev. Dr. Kathleen Lenover. Unfortunately, Kathleen made her transition before we could have her book launch with us.
But Education for Abundant Living continues. There is still a need for education about religious financial growth, about how to live abundantly, and how to put the two topics together. The organization is all set up and it continues to function. It is looking for a new leader who would like to have all the mechanics completed and who would like to take EAL to the next level. The Huntington Beach Church of Religious Science hired her as an Assistant Minister, where she served for 4 years. Then she was blessed to serve as Senior Minister of New Vision Center for 17 years. In 2013, she was invited back to Mile Hi to serve as an Associate Minister. In the Spring of 2019, she and Rev. Joshua Reeves became Lead Ministers of Mile Hi Church in Lakewood, CO. Rev. Dr. Patty Luckenbach is a well-known speaker, a profound and wise teacher, and the author of The Land of Tears Is a Secret Place and The Kingdom of Heart. For over twenty-six years, she has specialized in the care and nurturing of the human spirit as one experiences deep grief and loss from the constant changes in life. Dr. Kent Rautenstraus is a professional pianist who plays a variety of musical styles at numerous elegant events in his home state of Colorado, and throughout the United States - including the White House. Kent is the Director Emeritus of Music Ministry at Mile Hi Church in Lakewood, CO. He received an honorary Doctorate of Music (D. Mus) degree in February 2005. His recording of original, keyboard music entitled Luminaire, designed for deep relaxation and meditation, has sold over 4,000 copies to date.
